 I chose a video that most of us already known. It is a scene from a well-known  movie, Batman Dark Knight. In this video Joker looks for Harvey Dent and for this reason he and his men craches the party. However, he finds Rachel instead of Dent and explains how he got the scars to her...

Self-evaluation:

 I chose this video because I think these movie series are very good and many people like it. Especially, Joker has great impact on the movie. However, it is not very easy for me to determine this video , I have spent a lot of time to chose a video which related to our common interests. I think the most challenging part of the video task is that. On the other hand, this task is a little bit easier and more entertaining than the other because not only do you have some fun but also the readers. They can enjoy it why they read it. Therefore, I think a video task is better than a normal paragraph writing task.

Reflection task 3..

                                                  The Person of The Year

My candidate for the person of the year is Charles Montgomery "Monty" Burns, mostly known as Mr. Burns. He is the owner of nuclear power plant in Springfield. He provides a lot of job opportunities for the lazy, selfish, ignorant people of the town. He is just an old man and of course a little bit greedy but this maybe because of his loneliness... 

                                                 He is a lovely man isn't it ? (!)

He runs a  power plant which develops the town. He, of course, treats his employees very badly but we all do it won't we? It doesn't make us bad, it makes us a employer. He has some mottos which are very popular in the world. He says " release the hounds" whenever he wnats to get rid of someones but it is maybe because of to get rid of the bad memories or childhood tragedies ...

                                                     Such a nice voice ...

He does not help anyone or donate anything to anywhere but he is my candidate because he is rich, he has power and power plant!

Important note: I know he is just a cartoon character but I think in real world we cannot decide the person of the year because there are almost 7 billion people in the world and we only choose the most powerful or rich (!) one as the person of the year. Reflection Task 2b...

                                                                     ONE CHANCE

This is a video from a very famous TV show, Britain's Got Talent, and that man is Paul Potts. He is just an ordinary man working as a mobile phone salesman and wants to make his dream, being an opera singer, come true. At the beginning he looks very shy and lack of self confident and I think neither do the jury nor the audiences believe that he could sing. However, when he starts singing they realize that they were wrong.

I choose this video  because I think most of us, maybe unintentionally, judge the people their appearances. We do not give them a shot to tell their stories, we are just prejudiced individuals. However, we can understand from this video that things can be very different from we thought. Potts is just a simple example for that. He win the competition and become an opera singer. His story gives inspiration to many people. Moreover, a movie "One Chance" about his life story  was filmed! By the way, I haven't watch it yet but some people says it is a nice movie. Anyway, I think this kind of stories can change our bad behaviours like prejudgement and make us better human beings.
